Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-02-21T17:34Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
Activity ID: 2024-02-21T17:34:00-CME-001 (version 2)
Note Keyword:
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
FF: Event fails/disappears before exiting COR2
GAP: Data gap
OFL: Outflowing material at the back of the CME
OVR: Event partially overlaps with another CME
Source Signature Keyword:
Morphology Keyword:
LS: Loop and Shock Candidate
Note: Very faint CME with the front not well seen in C3 and covered by a data gap in STEREO A COR2. There is a second front closely following the initial front in coronagraphs, also fading very soon. No clear source was found for this CME, although there is a very minor activity in AR 3590 (N17E41) seen in AIA 193 and GOES SUVI 284 at the time and also a minor movement of field lines behind the northeast limb in AIA 171 starting at 2024-02-21T17:09Z.

The List of CME Analysis already entered:
Event Type Catalog
Measurement TypeCME measurement type: Leading Edge (LE), Shock Front (SH), Right Hand Boundary (RHB), Left Hand Boundary (LHB), Black/White Boundary (BW), Prominence Core (COR), Disconnection Front (DIS), Trailing Edge (TE).
Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
